H&M Turtleneck, Burgundy Chiffon Blouse c/o ShopSosie, Forever 21 Cuffs, Galaxy Leggings c/o Mad Lady
Whether it be the cloak-like cardigan, galaxy print, or gauntlet like cuffs, I'm getting a lot of Star Wars vibes from this look! (You could even say Iron Man too, since I really like pairing these gold cuffs with red!) The"cardigan" is actually a blouse that I've unbuttoned, but you can see how I wore it as a top in a previous look here. The new leggings are from Mad Lady, and the colors are pure eye candy! Not to mention the leggings fit snugly on me and they are long too (I like to pull the hem of my leggings over the heel of my foot). They are super soft and I especially can't wait to show them off when school starts again! ;)
I've fallen into a bit of a creative block with my current portfolio piece, the graphite tea cups drawing. I had one really great concept in mind which for the most part, would require that I draw steam coming out of the tea cup which seemed like a great idea in my mind until I looked up some reference photos and saw just how complex it could be to realistically draw steam! o.o I can't get the concept out of my head though, and I've been brainstorming for days, but no ideas I've thought of have been better than my original one. I'll probably go through with it but not without much frustration along the way! xD I quite like graphite drawings though, but I'm itching to do a charcoal piece! Or to draw some hands, or bones, or even better yet more skeleton hands!
Also, why can't Season 2 of Legend of Korra be out already?! I have got to say that the writers of Avatar and Legend of Korra really know how to weave intricate backstories into each of their characters and I applaud them for bringing in the issue of social unrest and government conspiracies to make for television that is much more dynamic and thought provoking than the usual shows directed towards children these days! But that's not to say that Avatar or Legend of Korra is only a children's show ;)
