Cream Sweater c/o Ellysage, Gold Bodychain c/o 2020Ave, Denim Shorts from Pacsun

Photos by Unbearably Stylish

Slouchy knits and cutoff shorts is a combination that feels quintessentially California to me. And it also makes for the perfect outfit for a no-fuss, therapeutic day at the beach. This cream sweater I'm wearing is from Ellysage and it's slouchy shape juxtaposes these tiny shorts from Pacsun so well. I love wearing something more oversized with something really well-fitted. And a fun fact about these shorts is I've had them since middle school—some items just last years and years in our closets don't they? :P

For a subtle accent, I layered this dainty gold bodychain from 2020AVE over my sweater and added my gold starfish cuff to complete the look. And of course, no shoes necessary at the beach! I love the feel of the sand underneath my feet :) Hope you guys are having just as relaxing of a summer so far!

PS: I'm currently also doing a massive cleaning out of my wardrobe and have listed 50+ items with more coming each day onto my Vinted shop for sale! :) Please feel free to take a look and if you message me and mention you are my blog reader I will be happy to discount the items further for you! <3

Snapback, Muscle Tee, Purple Boyshorts, Black Thong, and Striped Socks all c/o MeUndies
Tiny Tea Teatox c/o Your Tea

Those who know me in person know that I love staying home and relaxing, so much more than I do going out. For homebodies like me, comfy and cute loungewear is something you definitely can't live without ;) Today I want to share with you guys an awesome new loungewear brand called MeUndies. Everything they make is so incredibly soft and comes in a ton of patterns and colors. I also love how their delicate knits like this muscle tee still holds up amazingly well in the wash!

Another thing that's absolutely essential for a lazy day in bed is some good tea and the one I've been drinking at the moment is Tiny Tea!  When Your Tea approached me asking if I wanted to try their tea, I was quite curious as I had heard a lot about how much it was raved about by other bloggers. They have a lot of different teas to choose from with varying benefits but I decided to try the Tiny Tea because one of the benefits that stood out to me was that it would increase energy and also decrease bloating. My first impression of the scent of the tea is that it has quite a nice earthy smell. The taste is like green tea but with a lot more layers in the flavor. As for the benefits, yes I did find that after drinking the tea I felt a lot more awake and for a prolonged time (compared to regular green tea) and that it did help my stomach with bloating as I have a habit of eating too fast. But ultimately, my favorite part about the tea is the amazing smell and taste (and the cute packaging doesn't hurt either!)

Now that I'm home for summer vacation, I look forward to many more lazy days with my MeUndies and my TinyTea :) I also hope you guys enjoyed the glimpse into my room! I have never shot a look in my room before but after seeing how well these photos came out with the lighting from my sliding door, I hope to utilize it a lot more!! Have a wonderful weekend! And if you have any specific questions about the tea, feel free to ask! xo

Cobra Lily Lipstick c/o Shien Cosmetics, Cream Colored Coat from Zara, Peach Pashmina Scarf c/o Tobi, Textured Silver Necklace /o Susanna Galanis, Silver Cameo Necklace c/o Susanna Galanis, White Bodycon Dress c/o Tobi, Patent Leather Boots from Zara

Photos by Michelle Uzomba

Now that New York is finally becoming warm again, I can finally dress in the way I was so accustomed to in California and that makes me feel a lot more at home! (Perpetually going to be at conflict with dressing practically in a New York winter and dressing how I want were it a California winter!) Now layering is no longer required for the sake of warmth and I can bring out my favorite lightweight coats, like this textured coat from Zara. I love the raw finish and tattered feel of the fabric—it reminds me of terry cloth but with much more of an edge.

I coordinated it with this peach colored scarf for a subtle variation in color and wore this long sleeve white bodycon dress underneath, both pieces which are from Tobi! For jewelry, I am wearing another gorgeous set of jewelry from my favorite jewelry designer, Susanna Galanis <3 This it actually two necklaces layered together and I love the contrast in the pairing of this more textured necklace against the purer and softer elements in the crystal and cameo necklace. And lastly, I wore my black patent boots to inject a bit of toughness in this very light colored look.

There's only 2 more weeks left in my semester until I get to come home for the summer and everything is crazy and hectic as usual but I'm quite excited to share with you guys some photos of my work from this semester in my Creative Tech class (which is a fancy name for fashion construction.) This semester we've been working on 6 garments which we coordinated as a mini capsule collection and since we are shooting a lookbook for it, I'll have really nice photos of each piece to post, so look out for that pretty soon ;) Thanks for reading and I hope you guys all have a wonderful week!
