Black Beanie from H&M, Mesh Sports Bra c/o Akrovita, Paneled Sports Leggings c/o Akrovita, Crossbody Bag from H&M, Neoprene Boots c/o Miista

Today I am sporting the amazing design work by two Parsons graduates, Virginia Fabricius and Krista Wardell! They're activewear line, Akrovita, is based off of the concept of clothes for an active lifestyle that work for and beyond the gym. Essentially, their garments can easily transition from the gym, to the workplace, and then to after work hours! For work, this top could be easily styled with a blazer and high waisted pencil skirt over it, and the pants could be paired with a dressy blouse and high heeled shoes. I decided to style a look to show how I would transition my Akrovita garments for a look that suits after gym and after work hours!

I've never really put much thought into what I wear when I workout but now that I've discovered Akrovita, I'm quite excited to have edgy workout pieces that reflect my style too! I love exposing my back and can't get enough of the mesh back in this sports bra! I also love anything that makes my legs look really long and the lines in these sports leggings are incredibly flattering for that! Not to mention the fact that the leggings have a stirrup foot design quite literally makes them perfect in my eyes as I've always hated when my leggings ride up at the ankles and start to look bunchy, but now I won't have that problem with these leggings! <3

Wearing these at the gym, I'd of course have my hair up and be wearing running shoes, but it's super easy to amp the look up for going out by letting your hair down, adding some accessories such as this beanie and a cross body purse, and throwing on a killer pair of shoes like these platform booties! For those of you who have an active lifestyle, I hope you guys will definitely check out Akrovita for their awesome garments that can follow you just about anywhere! :)

SUMMER DAZE

Gold Chain Necklace c/o Lulu's, Marled Dolman Cardigan c/o Tobi, White V-Neck c/o Gypsy Warrior, Metallic Temporary Tattoos c/o ShopAkira, Black Skinny Belt from Forever 21, Black Mini Skirt from Old Navy, Neoprene Boots c/o Miista

I'm always attracted to any type of outerwear that makes me feel like I'm bundled up in a blanket. They make my mornings much easier knowing I can (kind of) take a piece of my bed with me! This dolman cardigan/jacket from Tobi has been such an amazing find! It serves as a statement piece with its eye-catching texture and holds such a strong shape. Plus I love that it also zips and has a playful hood.

I've been very obsessed with metallic temporary tattoos as of late too! A lot of people mainly wear them to festivals but I love wearing them in my more casual day to day outfits as well. These tattoos from Akira apply really beautifully and stay on for a couple days even. I imagine they would also look stunning when applied as a necklace or maybe around the thigh or ankle!

Hope you guys have a happy Tuesday! :)

PRINCESS OF THE MOON

Vintage Gold Crown Headband, Gold Cross Ear Cuffs c/o Romwe, Pink Crescent Moon Necklace c/o Romwe, "Anastasia" Gown c/o Fame & Partners

Two years ago I styled a more casual outfit entitled "Sailor Moon" which featured this pink crescent moon necklace. Now, the same necklace makes its appearance once more in another Sailor Moon inspired look, but this time styled in an elegant formal look! :)

The necklace went so well with this Fame & Partners gown! And the gown itself has such a dramatic voluminous shape to it, both when standing still and when in movement. I think the feature of having the dress have a higher hem in the front is genius too because it allows for shoes to get shown off in formal looks and also prevents you from having to pull up your dress when you need to walk. This dress would be such a stunner for prom in my opinion! It makes me wish I could have two proms so I could dress up again! <3

Star Crossed Lovers Necklace c/o Katie Dean Jewelry, Teal Silk Longline Bralette c/o Uye Surana, Striped Rucksack from Target, Floral Maxi Skirt from Denim & Supply

Bottlerock Napa this year was such an incredible experience! It was my first time going to a music festival and I finally got the chance to put together some festival outfits! This was what I wore on Day 3, (also known as the day I saw Gwen Stefani in concert!!! <3) What I learned from the first day of the festival was that while black looks good, you will most certainly melt under the California sun ;____; So for the last day, I made sure to wear something that was not only cute, but also very comfy, breathable, and flowy!

This Uye Surana bralette was such a perfect festival top! It has such a beautiful vibrant color, and it's super soft and silky. I actually got to meet, Monica Wesley, the designer of Uye Surana a few months back and have been a loyal fan of all her pieces since :) She is definitely a lingerie designer you guys will want to keep an eye on! To balance out the skin exposed by the bralette, I paired it with a long floral maxi skirt by Denim & Supply. Can you believe I got this skirt on sale for only $20?! Lastly, the final touch was this delicate star necklace by Katie Dean. I'm very into dainty jewelry pieces this summer so I was quite excited to add this to my jewelry box! I love the combination in this necklace of the crystals paired with the gold tones.

I hope you guys like the photos! There were a lot of people who helped to make these photos possible! I want to say thank you to my boyfriend's friend, Davis, for being so kind as to let us borrow his camera for the festival! We weren't allowed to bring in "professional-looking" cameras like my DSLR so he really came through for us when he let us borrow his point in shoot which has amazing photo quality as you can see! Davis is a photographer too so be sure to check out his website! And also more special thank yous to Renaissance Hotels for sending me, Chris, and my sister to the festival and for treating us to such a delicious brunch at The Lodge in Sonoma, and to Jake Hammel from BMF Media for coordinating everything and making our trip run so smoothly!! :)

Cobra Lily Lipstick c/o Shien Cosmetics, Cream Lace Dress c/o Tobi, Layered Rocks Necklace c/o Susanna Galanis, Gold Ornate Cuff c/o Susanna Galanis, Gold Ornate Bracelet c/o Susanna Galanis, Gold Ornate Ring c/o Susanna Galanis, Nude Ankle Strap Pumps from Nine West

Photos by Michelle Uzomba

This was the last look I shot in New York before heading back home for the summer. Here I'm wearing another lovely set of pieces from Susanna Galanis. This stone necklace by her is one of the most striking pieces I've ever worn and it paired quite nicely with this lace dress by Tobi which has such a pretty back detail! For my arm party, I am also wearing Susanna Galanis bracelets and ring. They have this delicate appearance to them yet are quite bold in their statement making nature.

For this outfit, I chose not to wear my extensions mainly due to the sweltering humidity and the fact that I was battling a cold during finals when this was photographed ;___; Anyways, I've been growing my hair back to its original long length after cutting it super short last summer! I do like this length a lot as well though :) It's very ideal for showcasing dresses with unique backs!

Have a wonderful Tuesday! And don't forget you guys can also shop my closet at Vinted which I've updated with tons more items <3 If you mention you are my blog reader, I'm happy to further discount the items for you :)
